Consumer Demand for Gluten-Free Foods Is Up: Our New Donuts Are Gluten-Free

There is a growing consumer demand for foods that meet special dietary requirements, including foods that are gluten-free. This is driven by food allergies and food intolerances that affect an increasing number of people, as well as by a more health-conscious public in general.  

According to one recent report on Statistica, the gluten-free foods market is forecast to reach $7.59 billion by the year 2020, with the U.S. being first for retail sales of gluten-free items, followed by Italy and the UK. Retail was also identified as the leading gluten-free outlet.
